Meet Myo, A Device that Let's You Control Computers and Other Devices. With Your Hand Movement

Technology keep growing very fast! That today stuff that we use to see in movies and think that they are impossible they are now here. Thalmic Labs a canadian-based company has created a device called Myo, Myo it a wearable tech that enables you to control your devices with your hand movement kind of super power that you see in movies where some one lift objects with his hand without touching them

Here is everything about Myo.

Created by ]]>Thalmic Labs]]>,  Myo is wearable tech,  like a wristband, an armband that gives you abilities to control your device with your hand movement, so what it does is that it connects via Bluetooth to devices and allows a person to control it over the air just with your hand movement.

This device can be use to do tones of things, include delivering keynotes, using a computer, playing games, control a drones and various other devices. So you can now browse the web with a flick of a wrist.

Myo is powered by an ARM Cortex M4 processor and works with various versions of Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. It also has haptic feedback sensors and two indicator LEDs, Its Li-ion battery lasts for a day after charging via the micro-USB interface.

How it work

there is a tiny device which senses your forearm movements using infrared cameras and LED lights. But Myo just wraps around your arm and detects your hand movements. It does so by detecting the electrical activity of your arm muscles using Electromyographic (EMG) sensors. So the the combined operation of sensors like gyroscope, magnetometer, and accelerometer and eight EMG sensors help Myo recognize your hand gestures.
